ASTON, Pa.--The Keystone College men's basketball team didn't have an answer for Neumann University senior guard Tyaire Hudson Monday evening.

Hudson scored 16 of his game-high 24 points in the second half as the Knights pulled away from a 33-31 halftime lead en route to a 78-65 victory in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) first-round game at The Mirenda Center.

The Knights, now 19-7, also received 17 points from sophomore guard Raquan Brown-Johnson, 12 points from Isaiah Wilmore, 11 from senior guard Billy Cassidy, and 10 from freshman forward Aaron Johnson-Chavis.  Neumann will now advance to Wednesday's semifinal game to take on Gwynedd Mercy, the number two seed, in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania.

Keystone, making its first CSAC tournament appearance since 2014, was led by junior guard Mark Perry with 15 points and senior guard Mark Gilliam and senior forward Bryan Williams finished with 14 and 12 points, respectively.

Remarkably, the Giants trailed by only two points at intermission, 33-31, despite shooting less than 27 percent from the field, including just 2 of 16 (12.5 percent) from beyond the 3-point arc.

Hudson then gave the Knights the spark they so sorely needed.  He scored Neumann's first eight points of the second half to spark a 21-10 rally that gave the Knights' their first significant lead, 54-41, with 11 minutes remaining.

And even though Keystone's shooting woes continued in the second half, the Giants still managed to stay within striking distance and cut the lead down to nine on a lay-up by Perry with 2:33 remaining.  Johnson-Chavis anwered with a lay-up on the other end for the Knights, but Keystone fought back again and cut it to eight on a 3-pointer by Gilliam with 1:03 left before Hudson buried three free throws and Cassidy a pair down the stretch to seal the victory.

For the game, Keystone shot just 33 percent from the field and was just 5 of 27 from beyond the 3-point arc (18.5 percent).
